UV Transfer Development and Production

A transfer needs to look right and adhere to the item it decorates. Our work covers the print file, material recommendation, sample and finished-order checks.

Full-Color Graphics

UV transfer printing supports multicolor artwork with a raised effect, giving a brand mark a different finish from a conventional flat printed label.

Surface Assessment

Our material recommendation accounts for the item’s outer surface, including any paint or coating the transfer will contact.

Artwork Preparation

Our design and prepress team helps prepare the graphic at its final size, including the outline and spacing between fine elements.

Sample Development

A physical sample lets you review the colors and raised effect together. It can also be used to assess adhesion on the actual item.

Production Inspection

Checks cover material specifications, print appearance, dimensions and finished packing. Quality inspection reports are available for the order.

Brand and Delivery Support

We support private label packaging, production updates and shipping coordination, with export documentation support for overseas customers.

UV Transfer Designs for Your Brand

Logos, illustrations and shaped graphics offer different ways to decorate an item. Each can be developed in custom dimensions and supplied in individual packs or grouped sheets.

Full Color and Raised Detail

UV transfer printing produces a full-color graphic with a raised effect. The design can be a standalone logo or a larger illustration with its own background.

  • Full-Color Artwork
Full-color artwork can combine a brand mark with multicolor illustrations in a single transfer.
  • Raised Detail
The raised print adds texture as well as color, so the logo can be felt on the finished item.
  • Color on the Item
The item’s color and finish affect contrast with the applied graphic. The same artwork can look different on two items even when the transfer itself is unchanged.
  • Design Background
A logo within a printed panel creates a defined block of color. A design without that panel places more visual emphasis on the individual letters or shapes.

Graphic Size and Shape

Custom dimensions and outlines let the graphic fit the usable area of the item. Lettering, spacing and fine details are developed at that finished size.

  • Logo Dimensions
The logo can be scaled to fit different items while keeping the same proportions.
  • Lettering and Lines
Small text and fine lines can lose clarity when a graphic is reduced. Letter weight and spacing become more important in a compact design.
  • Custom Outline
The outer shape can follow your graphic or use a regular round or square format. Detailed contours need assessment with the transfer process and finished size.
  • Spacing between Elements
Gaps between letters and separate symbols keep a compact design from looking crowded. The complete layout preserves their relative positions.

Transfer Materials and Receiving Surfaces

The item may be bare, painted or coated. Transfer materials are recommended for the surface they will actually contact.

  • Item Material
An item made from a different material may need a different transfer specification, even when its shape is the same.
  • Coatings and Finishes
Paint and coatings form the surface the transfer bonds to, so compatibility depends on that finish as well as the item beneath it.
  • Handling and Exposure
Frequent handling, cleaning, temperature and exposure can affect the demands on a transfer. The material and any relevant tests are assessed for those conditions.
  • Surface Shape
The application area may be flat or curved. Its shape is considered with the transfer dimensions when assessing suitability.

What the Finished Sample Shows

The finished sample shows the graphic on the item, including details a flat artwork file cannot fully represent.

  • Placement and Scale
The sample shows how the graphic fits among the item’s edges, fittings and other visible features.
  • Printed Color
The printed sample gives a physical reference for the brand colors against the item’s own color and finish.
  • Surface Appearance
The raised detail and edges of the applied graphic can be seen and felt on the sample.
  • Application Requirements
Samples can also support agreed adhesion or exposure testing. These checks address use conditions separately from the visual review of the graphic.

Packing for Application and Distribution

The packing arrangement should reflect who will apply the transfers and how many they need at one time. Branding can be added to the outer packaging.

  • Individual Packs
Separate packs suit transfers handed out or supplied one at a time. The package size follows the finished transfer dimensions and any additional presentation material.
  • Grouped Sheets
Several graphics can be presented on a sheet, either as a set or as repeated designs. Grouping keeps the pieces together until they are needed.
  • Quantity per Pack
The order lists the total transfer count and the quantity in each pack or set. This supports both bulk supply and distribution in smaller groups.
  • Private Label Presentation
Packaging can use your branding for retail or wholesale distribution. Its artwork is separate from the graphic that will be transferred onto the item.

Transfer Materials and Surface Compatibility

Material documents and application tests support the choice of transfer for the intended item.

Material Specifications

Supplier specifications and relevant material documents describe the proposed transfer material. They are considered alongside the item’s surface finish and conditions of use.

UV Transfer or Printed Label

A UV transfer places a colored, raised graphic on the receiving item. A conventional paper or film label carries the artwork on a separate label face. The two formats give a brand mark a different physical appearance.

Application Testing

Additional third-party testing can be arranged for the intended application. The testing standard, selected material and laboratory determine the scope and cost.
